Bond is the web platform at bonddh.ir where your company's catalog, projects and business data live. Atrium is where you design. When you sign in, the two work on the same data: what you save in Atrium is in Bond's web app right away, and the other way around.
Works without a Bond account too. Local mode keeps everything on your computer. Signing in adds your company's catalog, the Bond library, shared projects, support tickets and the AI assistant.
Open Settings → Connection and choose Sign in with Bond…. Enter your Bond username and password.
| Local mode | Company mode (Bond server) | |
|---|---|---|
| Where your data lives | A database on this computer | Your company's Bond server |
| Sign-in | None | Bond username and password |
| License | 30-day trial, then a personal license | No separate license |
| Bond library, shared projects, AI assistant | No | Yes |
The interface is the same in both modes. A third mode, the shared database, is for workshop networks; see Install & first run.
The Bond library is a collection of ready-made materials, parts and assemblies prepared by the Bond team. Anyone signed in can browse it.
The library itself is read-only. To change an item, add it to your workspace first, then edit your copy.
If the Bond team improves an item you've added, a banner on your copy tells you a newer version is in the Bond library. Click Update from library to refresh it.
Your company's projects open in Atrium straight from Bond, with the same structure as on the web:
Project → Edition → Alternative → Plan
Site surveys, the existing state of each floor or unit, sit under the project. A plan drawn in Bond's web app opens in Atrium exactly as it was drawn, and a plan you draw in Atrium opens on the web. See Plan and Projects.
Atrium doesn't have a BOM panel of its own. Instead, every time you save an assembly, Atrium works out the bill-of-materials data for each component and uploads it to Bond with the assembly:
Bond turns this into the BOM and the price of each alternative, which you see in Bond's web app.
If someone else saved the same assembly before you, Atrium tells you instead of overwriting their work.
Tickets you open in Atrium go to the Bond team and are the same tickets you see in Bond.
Your Atrium version, Windows version, license and the section you had open are attached automatically. Only the Bond team sees them.
